Fucoxanthin is a prized carotenoid derived from seaplants. Fucoidans belong to the family of sulfated polysaccharides that occur in a variety of seaweeds. Research suggests that fucoxanthin and fucoidans may play a role in a variety of body processes from weight management to immune and kidney functions, cell generation and blood circulation.

good price & a great product

Best price on this that I have found and much better than GNC. Fucoxanthin has potent powers. Mainly to boost the metabolism to help burn fat. It comes from brown seaweed. I have found that I feel more stamina and energy, and that I have already lost weight with it. There are all sorts of studies that Dr. Oz has that prove it works too.

DO NOT BUY! PLEASE READ THIS FIRST!

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! THESE REVIEWS ARE FAKE!- The so-called 'manufacturer' of this product, "Pure Source Labs", doesn't even have a website and most likely does not exist at all. Someone named Samuel Keeler is the principal and owner of "Pure Source Labs LLC", "Eden Pond Labs LLC", "PureCap Labs LLC" and three other "lab" LLC's, all based out of WA in the Seattle and Spokane areas. "Eden Pond Labs" is known to send postcards offering free products if they write a five-star review of their products and the manufacturer has been repeatedly reviewed as selling fake products. "Pure Source Labs" products (such as this one) are also repeatedly reported to be fake.- 39 out of the 70 total five-star reviews were posted in a period of only 3 days (between June 26 and June 29, 2012). Out of the 76 total four and five-star reviews, only 5 of the reviews are verified through Amazon (meaning 71 of 75 positive reviews were made by reviewers who did not actually purchase or use this item). All of this is obviously very suspicious for a manufacturer owned by someone who is known to compensate for five-star reviews.- The registered address for "Eden Pond Labs" (found from the Better Business Bureau) is simply for a home in a residential area of Seattle (and this address matches the zip code on "Eden Pond Labs" bottles). There is no registered address for "Pure Source Labs", only the address of the registered agent service that Mr. Keeler used to make "Pure Source Labs" an LLC (limited liability company).- The seller of this item (along with all of "Pure Source Labs", "Eden Pond Labs" and "PureCap Labs" other products), "DAB Unlimited", is owned by a company called "Potential Dynamix LLC" which was successfully sued in 2011 for selling fake products on Amazon.- Many of the reviewers who have written five-star reviews have written five-star reviews for many other products sold by "DAB Unlimited".I am a dedicated Amazon customer and a Prime member and am completely disgusted that this sort of behavior is tolerated on Amazon. If you are looking to purchase Fucoxathin supplements, please look elsewhere!

Unbelievable!!

I have been dieting for as long as I can remember and the weight comes off so slowly for me. I heard about Fucoxanthin and decided to give it a try. That brick wall I hit came tumbling down and I started to lose more quickly. I also felt more energetic which inspired me to start walking again. It's unbelievable that I am able to lose again! I feel great!
