Product Description
According to the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, or MSKCC, chitosan may be used as a supplement to help lower cholesterol levels in the blood. The cholesterol type that chitosan targets is LDL, or low density lipoprotein. LDL is often called the "bad" kind of cholesterol as it accumulates in the body and can lead to heart disease. The MSKCC adds that no optimal dose or long-term efficacy has been established for using chitosan to lower cholesterol levels. Because Chitosan is a positively charged compound, it is able to attract and bind to fatty acids (which carry a negative charge). As such, chitosan can absorb up to 4-6 times its weight in fat (including cholesterol) and prevent that fat from being absorbed into the body. This means that for every gram of chitosan that you consume as a supplement, you'll prevent the absorption of about 4-6 grams of fat.

really works!

I've had a big rear and thighs since I was young...proverbial pear-shaped. I'm 47 and have been using chitosan since January 2013, along with raspberry ketone and calcium pyruvate (for thighs)..according to Dr. Oz's fat busters. It is so cool to see my rear/thighs get a little smaller..my pants fit looser. I am so excited. I am hoping that with longer use I will see even better results. So far, I am very pleased with this product. Product shipped very fast, sturdy packaging.
