The contents of these capsules don't taste genuine to me

What this product claims to contain is extremely good:GREEN COFFEE BEAN EXTRACT 800mg per ServingServing Size: 1 Veggie CapServings Per Container: 60Proprietary GCBE-800 Extract 800mgGreen Coffee Bean Extract, GCA (less than 5% caffeine)(50% chlorogenic acids)Other Ingredients: Vegetable Cellulose (Veggie Cap)Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, take one (1) veggie capsule twice daily, 30 minutes before meals with an 8oz glass of water.WARNING: This product contains 20mg of naturally occuring caffeine per serving. Less than 1/2 a cup of coffee.However, what this product claims to contain may be much better than what it really contains. Each clear, transparent veggie capsule of this product contains a very light yellowish/brownish-white powder inside of it. Instead of the strong, acidic, coffee taste of the contents of other brands of green coffee bean extract products, this product has a mild, starchy taste which somewhat resembles the taste of potato starch powder and doesn't resemble the taste of coffee.I will not be buying this product again. My best guess is that this product contains defatted soy flour, rice bran flour, oat bran flour, corn bran flour, soy germ flour, or some unknown mixture of 2 or 3 fine-powdered whole grain flours. Judging from what it tastes like, this product might contain 1% or 5% or 10% of genuine green coffee bean extract. Let's do a scientific experiment:Background: This experiment will work best where the average relative humidity is high. In the U.S., the average relative humidity is high in the coastal areas of Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, southeastern Texas, Washington state, Oregon, and everywhere in the state of Hawaii. Genuine GCA green coffee bean extract and genuine Svetol green coffee bean extract will clump together and turn much darker in color inside their capsules after only a few hours of exposure to a moderately high relative humidity of 50% or higher. This happens even if the clear, transparent capsule which contains the product is not opened up, crushed, damaged, or tampered with in any way.Results: The 2 control groups - the capsules containing genuine GCA green coffee bean extract and the capsules containing genuine Svetol green coffee bean extract - turned darker in color inside their capsules after exposure to the ambient air, which had a room temperature of about 78 degrees Fahrenheit and a relative humidity of about 70%.The experimental group - the capsules of this product, which is manufactured and distributed by Genetic Solutions LLC of Chandler, Arizona - did not change at all in color inside of their capsules, even after 24 hours of exposure.The capsules of the genuine Svetol green coffee bean extract began with a moderately light chocolate color which immediately began to darken and eventually became very dark chocolate (almost black) in color after only about 15 hours outside of the pill bottle, which contained a dessicant.The capsules of the genuine GCA green coffee bean extract were much less sensitive to the humidity in the ambient room air than the capsules of the genuine Svetol green coffee bean extract. The capsules of the genuine GCA green coffee bean extract darkened from an extremely light chocolate color to a somewhat darker chocolate color after about 15 hours and would likely darken further with even more time outside of the pill bottle, which contained a dessicant.2nd experiment: The same experiment was repeated but this time, the capsules were all opened up and contents of the 3 different types of capsules were directly exposed to the room air.Results: The contents of the capsules of the genuine Svetol green coffee bean extract became very dark chocolate in color (from moderately light chocolate in color) after only 2 hours.The contents of the capsules of the genuine GCA green coffee bean extract became moderately dark chocolate in color (from very light chocolate in color) after only 2 hours.After 6 hours, the contents of the capsules of the genuine GCA green coffee bean extract developed numerous, very tiny, white, spherical crystals, which I suspect are the chlorogenic acids. [If these very tiny, white spheres were made of caffeine, then we would also see them forming on instant coffee after several hours - but we don't. Therefore, I don't think that these very tiny, white spheres are the caffeine].After 6 hours, the contents of the capsules of genuine Svetol green coffee bean extract also developed a few of these very tiny, white spheres but not nearly as many as the contents of the capsules of the genuine GCA green coffee bean extract.However, the contents of the capsules of this product remained essentially unchanged in color after 6 hours. [A slight change in color did seem to occur because the outer areas of the powder became slightly wet from the humid air. However, when I crushed the slightly hardened, slightly wet mound of powder with my finger, the color reverted back to its original, dry-powder color, a very light yellowish white.Conclusion: This product, the Green Coffee Bean Extract with GCA marketed by Genetic Solutions LLC of Chandler, Arizona, contains little or no genuine GCA green coffee bean extract. Somebody needs to accurately measure the amount of chlorogenic acids in each capsule.

ALthough my loss was not as quick as others claimed, I did find it helped me drop a few pounds. Look for this seller, as they were competitive in pricing and shipping.
