Product Description
Supplementation of Pyruvate has been shown to increase the amount of energy the mitochondria use (mitochondria are the metabolic furnaces of cells.) The more energy mitochondria use, the less excess the body has to store -- as fat.
There should be an initial "saturation" of 6 grams of Pyruvate per day (eight 750mg capsules), for the first 10 days. Thereafter, the daily amount will vary based on a person's body weight.
Pyruvate works best when accompanied by exercise. Walking 30 minutes per day, 3 to 4 days per week can help produce the desired results.
Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, adults take two to eight capsules daily with water, or as recommended by a health care professional.

Definite Energy Booster!!!!

I just recently purchased this product from an external site & started taking it today. The instructions recommended if you know you will be working out, take it an hour before exercise for a boost. So that's what I did. I was feeling kinda tired & sluggish before heading to my workout. During the workout, the boost kicked just as they described. I was so energized that my intended 60 min workout turned into a 120 min workout. After all that, I still didn't feel tired or winded as I normally do after exercising. I've been trying so many different products in search of an energy boost. Finally found it in this product. So for that alone it gets 4 stars.Since I just started, I can't speak on the weight loss yet. But, I will update this review if/when I notice some progress.

I bought this product because of the great price for 300 capsules. I took the Calcium Pyruvate for 4 months and then stopped after my Dr. warned me that this substance was known to cause Kidney stones.
