Misleading label

The front label stated "500 mg extract" but on the back, it stated 450 mg powder and only 50 mg extract (95% curcuminoids). That means the total curcuminoids is really 47.5 mg out 500 mg, or 9.5%.Jarrow Formulas Curcumin 95, 500mg, 120 Capsules is labeled "500 mg concentrate (95% curcuminoids)"Nature's Way Turmeric is labeled "450 mg of 95% curcumin plus 50 mg of whole root powder"(I have purchased all three brands, in addition to the Nutrigold brand).

Teraputics Curcumin 95%

Turmeric is one of the spices in curry powder giving it that golden color for which it is known. It is an old Indian spice that has been used for centuries, for taste, and for its health benefits. It was only a few months ago that I was converted to a healthy lifestyle through supplements by watching a very eye-opening documentary. In this documentary the person was able to completely stop aches, pains, depressions, anxiety, and other ailments through the use of only supplements. Since then I have included multivitamins, niacin, fish oil, sam-e, and curcumin into m diet. I chose the curcumin for its anti-oxidant properties but it also works incredibly well in relieving my sore joints after I come back from the gym. In the past sometimes a hot bath would have barely any effect but the curcumin seems to work amazing. I would definitely recommend this curcumin brand for anyone out there looking to try it for themselves. The price as well as the 95% curcuminoids were a big selling point for me.

I was recommended to try taking curcumin by my aunt who is a nutritionist when she became aware that I was experiencing adverse reactions to the prescription medications I was taking. I have chronic pain that comes with having fibromyalgia.Teraputics curcumin was the choice for me based on its relative strength (95%) and its modest price as compared to other brands on this website. The reviews seemed very positive as well.Of course I was very critical and asked many negative questions about the product my true skeptic coming out in these kinds of circumstances. But after doing days upon days of reading about the benefits of curcumin I was finally sold on it and decided to go ahead and just try it.It gets rid of my joint pain by about 75% when used in combination with ibuprofen (Motrin). The most effective solution for me was to take 3 capsules every single day.Breakfast lunch and dinner so that it gets evenly spread out during the day.About every 4 days or so I take an extra three capsules before I go to sleep to kind of "load" my body with the curcumin.So far the Teraputics brand has been doing an effective job for me but I have honestly not tried any others brands, it seems that the quality of curcumin (based on my readings) can vary so I will continue to stick with this brand as I have experienced substantial results from using it.
