Product Description
NOW PHASE 2 helps you achieve dietary management objectives without the use of stimulants or laxatives. PHASE 2 is an all-natural bean extract that has been shown in non-clinical studies to help reduce the breakdown and absorption of complex carbohydrates, by limiting the action of alpha-amylase, a digestive enzyme. Alpha-amylase helps breakdown dietary starches into glucose so that they can be absorbed by the digestive tract. With less alpha-amylase activity, there may be less excess glucose available to convert into fat and store and adipose tissue.*

No side effects but also won't cure a bad diet

I mainly take these starch neutralizers before a meal or snack that I know is full of bad carbs/sugar. I don't notice any negative side effects but I also haven't lost much weight by taking them and keeping my diet the same.When taking these before eating some high carb or high sugar foods, I do notice that I don't feel as sluggish or bad afterwards. These aren't going to be a miracle worker if you keep up a bad diet like I sometimes do, but may work fine for the occasional carb/sugar cheat while on a diet.

My family MD recommended this to me to take with meals. It slows down the absorbtion of carbohydrates thereby preventing spikes (both high and low) in my blood sugar. I can tell it is working because I no longer have dizzy spells and feel lightheaded soon after meals or in between meals. Great product for this application.

It does what is says. I try to watch my carb intake but sometimes you just know you are going to eat them. I take these when I do and feel great. I dont get that bloated feeling as much and the scales dont lie. I dont seem to gain. Not magic for super weight loss but definitely a great tool to have in the cabinet.
