Another Tool In The Box - Recommended

Being a Type II diabetic, I have to be careful to watch the number of carbs in every meal but sometimes it is difficult when eating out at a restaurant or friend's house. These "Carb Blocker" pills do make a measurable impact on my blood sugar levels (as measured with my blood glucose testing meter) if I take them before a carb heavy meal, so I know that they work to limit\slow carb absorption. After some experimenting, it is difficult say just how much they help and it seems to vary by the type of carb (i.e. good on breads, not too much help on rice).The recommended dose is two of these gel caps with your meal, but these are huge so most people will likely want to take them one at a time.I liked these enough where this is my third order but, as another reviewer pointed out, I don't have a lot of confidence that using these without a proper diet and exercise program will make much of a difference in weight control.Recommended!CFH

Works beautifully for me.

When I first tried this product I was skeptical about its efficacy because it would be difficult to quantify the effect it has on actual carb absorption without clinical studies. What convinced me was its reliable effect on my blood glucose levels. I am Type II diabetic with good control over my condition. I usually take two capsules before breakfast and try to make that my largest meal of the day, including a modest amount of carbs (usually a whole-grain piece of toast or an omelette stuffed with vegetables.) What almost always happens is that my blood glucose level a few hours later is lower than it was before I ate. It not only seems to block any carbs I've eaten, but it actually has a direct effect on lowering my glucose levels. Since I've made this observation I take at least one dose a day, sometimes two, and I have been able to cut back considerably on my medication, and have lost some weight along the way.

This did exactly what it said. I have tried other Carb Blocker tablets but the 3-in-1 did the trick and digestion was so much easier. I recommend this product for the Gluten sensative.
