I did the 30 day program about 2 years ago, more for the cleansing benefit than the weight loss. Surprisingly, I was able to stick to it for the full 30 days and this was November - yes, I still had a Thanksgiving and was still able to stick to it. By the end, the liquid cleanse days were so easy I stretched the last into 3 days and felt fine. I like the taste of the shake but the juice is gross - I would shoot it like alcohol and chase it with water. I felt great the whole time I was on it (and after!). The best part was when the cravings left me. I did not have another craving for anything probably for a year, the weight I lost also stayed off for about a year. During the "meal" days you get to eat regular food (within reason), and the cleanse days I found to be tolerable if I followed the instructions to the letter because it is designed to keep your blood sugar level stable so you don't feel hungry. I highly recommend the product! Word of warning though - you don't drink any alcohol for obvious reasons while cleansing. When you finish the 30 days, be VERY careful with alcohol consumption (I was not and sorely regretted it) - your liver is fresh and new after this and it is like taking your first drink. It will hit you like a wall if you are not careful.

I recently completed the 9 Day Cleanse. I lost 15 lbs and nearly 16 inches, so I am thrilled with the results. I was a healthy size to begin with, so I was only expecting to lose about 5 lbs. I couldn't be happier with the results. I did the vanilla. The shake was palatable, I'd even go so far as to say it's pretty good, just make sure you blend it with ice. I made the mistake of throwing it in a glass with some water at work and stirring it, and it was chunky and awful. The Cleanse for Life berry juice was nasty at the beginning, but I got used to it. I also found that, at night, mixing it with hot water made it taste better and it was really soothing. If you're a tea drinker, it's great.The program itself I found to be absolutely terrible. I purchased my products online, so I did not have the help of a "coach" and relied on online resources to answer questions. Very few of my questions were answered, however. There is no mention of how to deal with caffeine withdrawals. I tried to figure out if you could drink herbal, organic tea while on the cleanse, but I could not find the answer, so I stuck to Isagenix products and purified water. The booklet says that you should get at least 30 minutes of exercise in each day, but what type of exercise? Cardio? Strength training? Fat burning? I have no idea. I workout daily, anyway, so I just continued my daily routine. I had some issues on cleanse days and had to stick to strength training because running made me dizzy. Most importatnly, I'm not entirely sure what to do now that I have completed the cleanse. Online, they basically just say continue on and do the 30 day, but that is not what I set out to do. I don't think it's the best idea to just delve back into eating, even if I'm eating healthy. To go from eating 1,000 calories or less per day, to eating no solid foods for two days, and then just jumping back into eating three square meals per day seems like it will throw my metabolism for a loop and result in immediate weight gain. I am making up my own way to get off of the cleanse and using what's left of my shake in the morning, then eating a large 400-600 calorie lunch followed by a small dinner, but I have no idea if that's the right way to go.I liked the cleanse - I feel good and have more energy - but I could really have used more guidance.

My husband and I did the 9-day cleanse together. We had both chocolate and the vanilla isalean shakes. I liked the chocolate--it's more a mexican type chocolate/cocoa taste. My husband did not like the chocolate at all -- so he stuck to the vanilla. We did not buy ours at Amazon.com, but through our neighbor who just brought it in to the health club where she works. We got some great instructions, a time line for when you drink/eat/snack with little check boxes. Very helpful. It was challenging at points -- the hardest thing was making food for the children. I also had to limit my outings with the kids so that we were not around food. I must say, the 11 days (I did the optional two day 'pre-cleanse') were very calm.My husband lost 12 pounds, I lost six. Best wishes if you try it!
