I bought this when I was looking for something along the lines of hydroxycut or the old ripped fuel; looking for a burst of energy to move me along. I stared at the bottles at Whole Foods and bought this. I haven't noticed that queasy energy that I sometimes got with the other products, (looking for something in which I couldn't comfortably sit still...) but I kept taking it anyway -- what the heck. I didn't notice any of the benefits I was looking for, but figured I'd finish out the bottle anyway.What I did notice, unanticipated, was that the capsules really curbed my appetite. I never had a hunger problem, but I did have a grazing / munchie habit throughout the day. No big deal, but I did have a habit of grabbing a few things between lunch and dinner. After a few weeks of on again / off again taking the supplement, I noticed that on the days I took some capsules, I was less likely to graze between lunch and dinner, and even at dinner, ate less. Just didn't have as hearty an appetite. Again, this was a side effect that I hadn't expected -- no placebo effect possible -- but definitely there.For this side effect alone, the product is worth it. Strongly recommend.
